Annual General Meeting - 28th March 2020

For the first time in a number of years, we are looking forward to welcoming members to Devoran Village Hall for the 2020 AGM, being held on 28th March at 7 pm, in the historic former engine shed of the Redruth and Chasewater Railway.

Please make a note of this date in your diaries.   You are also advised to confirm attendance as soon as you receive your invitation early in the new year as it promises to be a very popular event. The reason?

This year’s presentation will be a talk about the industrial past of the Creek and in particular featuring the significance of the Penpol Creek Tide Mill following our very successful archaeological dig this last summer. It will be presented by Nick Johnson, former Cornwall County Archaeologist, and long-time resident of Devoran.
