Join The Restronguet Creek Society
The Restronguet Creek Society was formed in 1972 in order to safeguard and preserve the essential character of the Creek, its amenities and heritage for present and future generations.
From time to time the Society organises events and projects and, when appropriate, it will make necessary representations to public authorities, industrial organisations and individuals to ensure that the creek is not endangered by the decrease in the ebb and flow of salt and fresh water, causing further silting up of the creek; by undesirable shoreside developments; or by other factors, including pollution, which are considered damaging to the preservation of the creek. Also to offer support and collaboration with other areas and associations which have similar objectives.
If you share these ideals, please join us by sending a completed Membership form. Membership is only £10 per household per year and can be paid by Standing Order. And if you keep a boat in the Creek or you live adjacent to the water you may wish to join the Boatwatch WhatsApp group.
With your membership you will receive an annual magazine, regular newsletters, notification of any events and projects, membership of Boatwatch and an invitation to the annual general meeting held in the spring of each year with a guest speaker.
